How to disassemble the camshaft?

    1. Set the camshaft orientation so that the valve spring force is evenly applied to the camshaft, and the camshaft can be removed horizontally. The fixed orientation of the camshaft varies with different types of engines. For details, refer to the repair manual.

    2. Loosen and remove the fixing bolts of the bearing cover evenly in multiple times.

    3. Remove the bearing cap and camshaft. The order of removing the fixing bolts of the bearing cover varies depending on the engine type.

    4. Register the removed bearing cover according to the cylinder serial number.
